Hey G'day,

I have a spare DM556T Digital Stepper Driver.

I also have a collection of various steppers from small to large - purchases made (maybe one day I will use one - if anyone is feeling my hording pain there lol).
I bought a mix box of stepper last year 5/6/8 wire. Just small steppers from who knows what.

Wanting to test them, would anyone have a link to any diagrams that are nice and clear as to.

How to wire a 5/6/8 wire stepper to a controller?

I'm looking at google but a lot of the information just waffles.

I am assuming that the 5th wire is a common/ground?
and that the same would apply for the 6/8 wire that there would be 2 or 4 common wires?
