Simple (Simpler) Software for Engraving Logos, etc.

I need to import some logos and other basic graphics into a software program that works well with Mach3 for engraving. I don't forsee anything more than simple 2-D engraving in my future.

I use MasterCam V9 at work for the CNC mill-work. It's the very basic 2.5-D version though.

I'd prefer an easy-to-use option if it's out there. I want to learn a new software, like I want to learn break-dancing.

    The less money, the better.

I'd appreciate any recommendations you have.

    Thanks

I use and like Sheetcam SheetCam homepage
Fairly cheap, works well and Les gives fantastic support.

    My 2¢ worth.

Well, I'm very happy with VCarve Pro, it just works. It has a lot of engraving-specific control.

I use sheetcam quite a lot as well, for the dollars it's an excellent program. There are quite a few raster to vector converter programs that are cheap or free if the design is simple. I usually trace over an image in cad to get arcs and lines rather than the splines most of the conversion programs produce. it's pretty quick and you don't need to be extremely accurate doing it.

Here's some engraving I did on my old Winchester 92 using the Tormach and sheetcam, it was very quick to cut:
