    Fanuc servo amplifier

We have a Fanuc A06B-6057-H403. Anyone know where to download the operators or maintenance manual? We tried Fanuc; no dice.

    Also, a quick hookup would work great. We think A, 1, 2 - 220 3-phase, and 3 & 4 - 100V single phase. 5, 6, & 7 - motor hookup of course. Main contactor is not kicking in.

    Regards.

    hi hotrob1

    I have A06B-6035_H422 and H423 in a 5T system. Not sure what model code my 7M system has, but drives are superficially identical, and these have A 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 with 5-8 to motor, A 1 2 most likely each a phase 220v. 3 and 4 don't know where wires are from.

If you think it will help I can let you know their connection, as I need to trace wiring system.

6035 is a very old SCR/DC analog velocity control unit- the 6057 is for a redcap(ac-brushless dc, whichever you prefer to call it) and its only a amp- pwm signals are generated from the cnc and sent directly to the amp- its incapable of running stand-alone...

a 6050 drive is Fanucs only redcap analog velocity control driver, can be wired to run stand-alone...6057/6058 are both just digital amps, require a digital controller capable of reading Fanucs proprietary commutation tracks and outputting the correct 6 channel PWM signals... 58 is 220 where the 57 was the last of the 185 volt input styles.

I have a 6050 in a box/welded on a dolly- with the transformer it weighs a couple hundred pounds... plugs into 120 outlet, use it for testing motors and moving machines manually that are under construction, just use a pair of 9v batteries balanced across a pot as a reference...6050's will run single phase at limited output, just need a xfmr to buck the 120 up to 170 min, then put 170 into A and other leg jumped to 1&2(fools the phase detection), encoder needs hooked up(will only work with incremental encoders- no serials) as quadrature is used with the onboard f/v converter to generate its tach.

old 6047 DC's run the same way- have a CNC bridgeport in the garage that runs on 120 volts with 0M-A and 6047 yellow cap motors.
