I have upgraded a 4 axis machine XYZW, the X & W are parallel (linear) with a servo on each. I went with DMC-1880 and Mach3 w/plugin. Everything has gone real smooth with initial tests. My question is; If I have configured the Galil with GM (gantry mode on X&W with X control) and all is working outside of Mach3, do I need to slave the drive in Mach3 or just setup motors XYZW and when I move X in Mach3, Galil will take on the XW gantry controls?
