    Makita Collets

    Hi all

    I can't seem to find this info anywhere so I am asking the gurus.... does anyone know the taper on Makita trim router collets?

    I am looking at replacing my Ozito router with a Makita and was hoping there are after market collets that would fit allowing me to use smaller bits than 6.35mm.

    You can get a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer bush.

    Thanks for that. I was more after the collet angle so I can see if I can fit aftermarket stuff like ER20 etc. Really jealous of the Americans who can buy aftermarket collets & nuts for their fixed routers......
