    Problem Dead Yaskawa 626 MT2 B Series

    Hi All,
This spindle drive is in a Hitachi Seiki HT25S. When machine is turned on in back, the drive gets proper 3-phase voltage but no LED's come on, nothing on single 7-segment LED. Shouldn't at least the "charge" LED come on? All fuses check good. The piggy-back powersupply on the front control board was sent out and no problem found.
    Any help is appreciated!

Charge light probably won't come on till it's out of estop. Power supply failed inside most likely.

I can check machine wiring tomorrow. I've read the manual and it implies that if the drive has proper 3-phase voltage applied, it should come to life (with errors), whether anything is hooked up to it or not. Maybe I read it wrong?

Today I was able to verify, on an identical machine/drive, that when 3-phase voltage is applied to the drive it does come to life whether anything is hooked up to it or not. The dead drive will be sent out for repair.
Thanks to all, this is a great website.
