    A video of my 3d printer self-replicating

Here's a short nicely edited video of my Reprap 3d printer making a new Extruder system for itself.

From 3d Print To Function - YouTube

    Nice!

    Two questions.
Which extruder did you print, and what was that knife you used to pry up your printed part? I could certainly use something like that...

Thanks! It was fun and I plan on having even better ones down the road. To answer your questions:
    1) the Extruder is Greg's accessible extruder. STL available on thingiverse and it's thing:6713. The hot end is a J Head MKIV-B Hot-End from reprap-USA.com
If interested, in a few days I'll have 3 different extruders and hotends featured on my blog. It'll be a quick rundown on my experiences with them. The blog: reprap-art.blogspot.com.
    2) The knife is easy. It's an artist paint knife used for painting pictures. Available at most craft and art stores. Have fun!

Oh good. Getting a review of a few extruders side by side will be helpful. Looking forward to reading it.
