    Water Trap for Vacuum Fixture?

So I made a 5x4x1" vacuum fixture for my HAAS VF-3YT, and I'm going to use a RobinAir High Performance Vacuum. I saw a water trap made my Nemi, but they start off at around $300 for what looks like almost a simple refrigerator water filter.

I was wondering if anyone recommends a cheaper equivalent? Will any filter with a trap work? And is there one that you recommend specifically?

Thanks, this forum's been a huge help.

A simple water filter housing works fine.

An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
