My homemade machine was working fine and then all of a sudden the z axis wont changed directions when jogged. nothing in the wiring or hardware changed so im guessing it is something to do with mach3. any help would be wonderful.
Thanks

Measure the voltage at the direction pin when jogging in both directions. It should be 0V in one direction, and 5V the other.

Im not sure if I fixed the problem but i got around it. When I first start up the machine the z still moves in the same direction, but if i go into outputs and switch the pins of the z axis to 6 and 7 and then back to 4 and 5.
It doesn't really bother me to do this but i would rather have it work correctly.
Any ideas?
