Anyone familiar with the spindax SA1100 spindle drive? Now that I've smoked mine, I need to find a component on it. It appears a small SOT23 component has blown on the board. I'm assuming its a diode (its in a transistor package), but cannot be sure, is it a zener or regular diode, perhaps it is a transistor - whats it's polarity? My one has blown to pieces completely and wondering if someone has one of these SD1000 boards laying around if it would be possible to put a meter across the component to tell me polarity/value.

Control techniques have been less than helpful, saying information for this drive is no longer available - perhaps you could buy a brand new drive off us. To be honest if thats the level of support they give their products I'd rather buy a drive off someone else - anyone else.
