    Meldas Replacing Spindle Drive

    Hi
New on here but an old hand at CNC (40Yrs). Faulty spindle (MDS-B-SPJ2-75) drive on XYZ Machine fitted with Mitsubishi control. Have sourced another spindle drive but unsure about loading parameters. I will not be able to upload parameters from old drive , as it probably wont power up. According to some documentation I have there should be a backup of the parameters in the control and should be downloaded to the drive on power up.
Do the parameters load automaticaly or is there a procedure to do this.
Any help on this would be appreciated

    Is that a 700 control?

It is possible that the previous user has put the backup on the hard drive. I have the instructions for NC backup as well as PLC backup and restore. For NC restore, I would guess you reverse A and B, not sure though. Gimme your email if you need it.

    Cheers.
