If you have not seen them there are several threads on just this,
Click on search, type in Christmas and you should be able to find them.

Yeah, ash trays are not a hot item any more, how about a fondue

This year all mine, and my wifes family are getting cutting boards made out of Corian (synthetic granite / marble). If you go to any kitchen restoration company that uses this stuff, you will find they cut out sections for the sinks to go into. They usually have no need for the cut out section. See if they will give those bits to you.

Yep, very scabby and cheap, but it becomes a good solid chopping board that they will use for many years.

The recipient could recycle it instead of giving to someone else the following year or just throwing it in the trash !

    feuerzangenbowle

    feuerzangenbowle (flame2)

This a handy tool for the holidays when one needs to entertain, also good for keeping warm. Above all else it is a great gift idea(with bottle of rum and zuckerhut)....

    /feuerzangenbowle/

    Needed:

    1. Thin sheet of food-quality stainless steel

    1. Access to an assortment of punches(slot geometry works well)

    1. Sheet metal bending press

I suppose if one had access to a clean cutting plasma CNC(someone around here must) that they could do it w/ some real nice pattern, and make one much more quickly then did I. Rounded edges, cool shapes for the dripping...

    Thingy -

Yes - it is a wine drinkin, rum/sugar burnin thingy.
I've never actually used one before - but soon!!!
If your more curious do a Google search. I doubt I would be able to explain it better then the Google - I was turned on to it my a German friend at school - I helped him make one and then made one for myself... I especialy liked how well it worked with the torch throwin animation.
