This is a Bridgeport 80 atc horizontal mill with 8 pallets and the Fanuc 6mb controller, circa 1984.
The bubble memory unit has failed, causing total data loss to occur.
Basic parameters have been loaded but the machine still needs to have pc parameters in order to interface with the add-on fuji PLC which directly controls the actual pallet carousel and automatic tool changer.
These parameters can be accessed by depressing the "parameter" button a second time, and they need to be hand copied...in addition to the first screen, there are also quite a few more screens which are accessed by pressing "n20" "input" "n30" "input" and so on...
Unfortunately, I hadn't realized that these parameters are not included during the routine parameter punch-out or else I would have copied them down myself a long time ago...needless to say, if you own one of these machines, it would be a good idea for you to take a few minutes and copy them down for just in case you ever find yourself needing them...after which point it sure would be great if you could also forward me a copy...
Anyways, if you have one of these machines or if know someone who might be able to help with this then I would certainly appreciate if you could get in touch with me here through cnczone or else you can contact me directly at:
