    Hi marco

Maybe you can remove the hinge from the door and put rails like those from a drawer at the sides so you can slide it open?

Or an other possibility is to cut the cover in 2 or 3 and add an extra hinge in the middel so you can "fold" the cover open

    Hi Stekke!

That's was I thought first and that is what I will do. I will cut the cover in 2 and I will add a few hinges. Let's see how I can cut it.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Marco.

    Hi Marco,

Can I ask what purpose the cover serves? that may give more of an idea of how it can be modified .

    best wishes

    Hi Exsecration.

I have a camera installed on the top of the frame. I'm going to use this to cut embroidery patches. I have coded a program that shows what is looking the camera and I can add points, that are converted to G-code.

So basically the structure is the camera bracket.

    Thank you,

    Marco.

p.d: Sorry for my poor english.

Buy a cheap microphone boom from any pro audio shop , maybe cost you $50... You can then position the camera directly over the laser without any interference.
