    Cincinnati Acramatic 2100 (Vickers)

Started troubleshooting the system with intermittent failure of Bridge Board,
suspected that workstation CPU is causing problem. Its CMOS battery changed. On starting System once showed boot disk failure but next time it started loading Win NT. But on next turn on it again displayed boot disk failure. And afterwards it constantly showed the same message, but Hard Disk was visible in BIOS Auto Detect.
We took out all socket ICs on Workstation CPU and reinserted them.
After that BIOS is not detecting Hard Disk on auto detect.
We have confirmed that Hard Disk is intact.
So now Is it a BIOS problem or Actually IDE interface of Workstation CPU has failed?

try putting your hard disk on another ide or try starting up on the same ide with another hard this way you can be sure if your problem lies is hard disk or on the ide.

if you get into your system try chkdsk d: /f and checkdsk c: f/
