Do you need a refrigerated unit or will an air cooled unit to keep the water at ambient temp do?

If air cooled will do the a car radiator and a fan can be used.

    :wee: You need a CW5000.

Please find if you can buy from ebay. This water chiller is very common in Chinese laser field.

Try the car radiator. Thats pretty cheap to find out, then if you need to go to a ref. type you can later. All ours are chilled, however our smallest one is still 400 watt.

Your laser will last longer and perform better with a refridgerated chiller. If you are running a cheap chinese tube, life may not be a big deal as the refridgerated chiller is more expensive than an armful of laser tubes. With an air cooled radiator, the temperature of the laser will gradually increase over an hour or two as the cooling system reaches steady state. The temperature of the tube effects power output so if you have a long job you could see variation over the job as the laser heats up.

If you specify what your laser is and how it is used it would be easier to suggest a cost effective solution.

    Hi William
Could you please tell us how many watts with your laser tube?
Your answer will can help you to order a suitable chiller to cooling the laser tube.
So now if you are using the water pump to cooling the laser tube?
Tell us more details and someone(or the chiller manufacturer) can provide a good solution to you

    Sincerely
