I will see what i can do to make it easier to understand.... i have five parts that i need to fix....
Big Chipin, spreading tha cheese, I be Big Chipin for days!
Build 678
I can't get BobCAD to output anything other than G54 (Fixture Offset 1).
Different posts, different programs. I can't get it to change.
I only have one Machine Setup in the programs I've tried.
For what it`s worth I only have the old Demo Build 629 on this PC and it is outputting the offsets OK on any/all machine setups
Basic Fanuc 0M Post, no "tweaks".
N04 T01 M06
N05 S3880 M03
N06 G90 G59 X5.8108 Y2.8412 (Here I selected Work Offset 6 and it has correctly output G59)
N07 G43 H01 Z2.54 M08
N08 Z52.54
N09 Z2.54
So it looks like a Build 678 thing
I`ll check out a V25 version with Build 678 later when I am at the PC that has that version and let you know what I get
Regards
Think I see what's going on.
If you are going to use an offset other than the default (1), you must set it first before creating any features. If you go back and edit the Machine Setup, all features created AFTER will have the new offset. All previous features, you have to manually go into each one and change them.
Previous versions would update the existing features if you changed the fixture offset in the Material Edit dialog. Not so now. No biggie, now I know.
Hello all,
On V23 I could choose the line style in the lower right corner but on V25 it does not bring up the options. Has anyone else noticed this?
Thanks
Ed.
do you have your screen maximized?Do you see the rest of the stuff along the bottom? Is the task bar hiding it?
I can see the solid line with the down arrow next to it but it does not do anything when I click on it. I do have my screen maximized and I do see everything else.
Thanks
Ed.
BobCAD, why you no like the lower case letter "p"?
:-P
Try to create a layer called "Pepperoni"
SBC Cycle,
Glad to know that it isn't only me. I thought maybe I had a bad install or something.
I have tried both Windows and BobCAD fonts with the same result.
And it isn't just in the Layers, it happens everywhere. Try to put any text with a lower case "p" on a drawing and the result is the same.
On another note, there are a couple of other issues.
V25 crashes rather consistently when opening files done in V23. This happens with just drawing files and those with features for programing.
Sometimes the issue can be resolved by opening the V23 drawing in V24, saving it and then opening with V25.
Not a tremendous issue, but it can be frustrating.
Also, I believe that importing tool data from V23 can crash V25. I have been unable to import V23 tool data and then open V25 without it crashing.
Remove the tool data files and everything returns to normal.

P Not working ...
My apologies, apparently there is a fix for it being worked on that I was unaware is on my computer... This issue will be resolved fully with the release of the next update.
Type in p and it doesn't show up,nothing there.
I thought it was just a stuck key that went away when I move to another program. I never went back to check though.

Sowen,
I am trying to upload the .zip files now using the link you provided.
Don't know what the issue is, but it is taking forever.
May be file size. Zipped the two folders are just under 40MB.
argo cnc
Still doesn't work here.
letter p doesnt work for me either.....

Anyone noticed that in a drilling cycle the Simulation is putting in moves that aren`t in the code ? ?
I set a drill cycle to go to a 1.5mm clearance above the workpiece and 2.0mm pecks.
In the code it rapids to the Z1.5 point and then the drill cycle starts and as the first peck is 2.0mm then it should just do a 0.5mm "spot" with the first peck.
Now then, when run in the good old Predator simulation that is exactly what the sim runs, no problems at all.
When I run the same cycle through the V25 Module works simulation it goes to:-
Z 1.5
then goes down to:-
Z 0.699997
next it goes back up to the:-
Z 1.5
then it goes up again to:-
Z 3.239998
finally it goes into the material:-
Z -1.300003
Anyone got any thoughts ? ?
Just a "quirk", the code is not affected and runs fine at the machine, very odd though as to why it would do all those moves and not produce them in the code ? ?
