    2001 3016 problem

can you help me with my issue im having, when i first turn on machine i cs machine then turn on spindle i get a c axis fault motor overload #9 so i reset board 1010-4 control board and it works fine been doing this for a few months. now when i do a tool change the spindle turns really slow and faults out saying c axis fault motor overload #18. The next time i do the tool change it may still go slow but it will work or it wont every other time. i called fadalcnc and they sent me a new 1010-4s board put it in and thought it help then it started doing the same thing after a hour. i did a zero memory procedure and seem to be fine for a few hours then back to faulting out.also change orientation factor from 15 to 25 help for a bit then got slow again and faulted any idea what i should try next? thanks

You can get htese errors if you dont let the machine warm up on start up. Alot of weird things will happen. I suggest pulling the handle then wait 4 seconds and hold in your green button for at least 6 seconds. If you are just tapping your green button on startup you will never get rid of errors.
We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.

I am guesing that the the inverter still needs to be retuned. IF it happens again, make sure the RS232 is unplugged. It is possible that it may be picking up noise and causing the problem.
