    My first router/mill

    Hello!

I am building my first cnc-router/mill. Started this project one year ago…I will use it for rapid prototyping. All I have left is to build the frame (have bought all other parts). I will really value your thoughts and opinions before I start to build the frame (see attachments). The frame will be made of steel. I have started to make a “dummy”-frame in wood for testing.

    Specs:

Table size, 600x500 (including 11 position ATC)
    Travel, 530x530x300 (X,Y,Z)
    Maximum feed, 1000mm/s (X,Y), 500mm/s (Z)
    Controller, Fawoo FWMC-U200, four axes
    Servo motors, Mitsubishi HC-KFS43, 400W
    Servo amplifier, Mitsubishi MR-J2S-40A, 400W
    Linear rails, THK SHS20 820mm and 1000mm, SHS20LV blocks
    Ball screws, NSK 20x20x540mm
Support for ball screws, THK BF15 and BK15
    Coupling, Multi-beam
    Spindle, Kavo 4041, 500W, 5000-50000rpm
    Hf Converter, Kavo 4442
    Z-axis, Parker 406XR
    Countering force, Festo DGP-25-PPV-A-B
    Table, Witte alufix
