    Dead Monitor ???

My Colchester T200 has been running today on a barfeed job and when I went to check it,the screen was "black". I'm assuming that it has left this earth for a better place.
The machine was running fine, just to make sure ,we shut the machine down, powered up again (still black). Did an edit ,pgm, reset, hit the start button and away she went. So the machine is fine and luckily this job is the only one on for the next 2 weeks, so my question is this ?

    Anyone seen this before ?
Has my monitor died ? ( or could it be something else)
and if so,where do I get a spare in the UK,for what I'd call an acceptable price and where from ???

    thanks for looking

First you should look at the front panel, if there are knobs to change contrast and lightness. If this don't work, you should open the enclosure and look if there's any standard Connector for the Monitor in which you can connect a Pc or TV-Monitor.

From what you have said, it is most likely to be the monitor that has expired.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL! The monitor is an open chassis and there are high voltages potentially present at the rear.

The monitor is a customer Fanuc item and a PC monitor cannot be used.

The replacement is Fanuc part number A61L-0001-0093 available from our spares department and elsewhere.

blown Fx14 fuse on Fanuc power supply

This fuse protects the +24V on the machine it means you are having a short on the machine wiring side check the resistance of +24V to ground and try to isolate the fault.
