Cutting aluminum plate this morning and found play in the router shaft. I am at +500 hours of operation on this router so I cannot complain. Anybody know about where to get a set of bearings and how difficult it is to replace them?
Thanks,
Scott

They are pretty easy to replace. I messed up my bottom one plowing into a fixture at about 800ipm.
I can't remember where I got one, but I remember that I just googled bosch 1617 parts and found something right away.

Easy fix, helps to heat up the router body to get the bottom bearing in and out. Went through 4 bottom bearings and the top bearing is still good.
Good idea to clean the commutator while its apart too, I used 400 grit sandpaper.
Got the bearings on ebay for under $4 each.
