That is some seriously awesome work guys, and kudos to Sp-4renegade for bringing a touch of kindness and joy to kids when they'd need it most! It must be very rewarding.

    cheers,
    Ian
It's rumoured that everytime someone buys a TB6560 based board, an engineer cries!

Thank you. For some parts my Tormach will help speed things up to do more Wrecker Trucks, like doing the wheels and rims, for the most part the rest will be done by hand, since every truck is built to be unique. Also "Toys for big kids, the 1100 will come in handy like making the rack for toys like this lathe.

    My 9 cylinder radial project

I posted some photos of my progress on my 9 cylinder radial engine project over on the Tormach Yahoo group:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tormac...90924/pic/list

This is my 3rd IC engine and I've been working on this one since Dec 2012. I may have another year of work left on it. I've just started on the heads and cylinders and for a person who doesn't like to make more than one of the same thing this phase of the project is going to be tough for me. - Terry

By the way, is it just me or are others constantly getting annoying audible 'clicks' from their computers while viewing cnczone. I'm sure it is coming from all the ads that are trying to download, but it drives me so crazy that I seldom come here anymore. I've tried adjusting the settings on my various popup blockers to remove the sound but I just can't seem to get rid of it. While making this post I've counted 11 of these. I can't stand it anymore... I got to get out of here.

    just messing around.

    custom loading block.

never made a mold before but i made this for a friend so he can make down rigger weights.

this is the weight he wanted to make. i don't have any pictures of his completed weights but they turned out perfect.

all the exterior work on this muzzle brake was done on the tormach. the id was bored and threaded on a lathe.

    this is how it mounts.

Nice gun parts. I haven't done anything that difficult...just some picatinny rails. Any suggestions on black coating aluminum? So far I'm getting $90 lot change for hard anodizing.
The video is of reload tasks that are easier on the Tormach.

Yes, Click, Click and downloading constantly in the background.
I've got where I rarely visit here anymore, traffic is down and the ads are pretty intrusive. You can tell the site's popularity has been going downhill over the last 6 months. Not sure why? Nobody minds some ads, but sometimes it's just crossing the line.
