Hi all,
I purchase a old lathe and seems that I can't get it started. :-)
There is a machine alarm nbr 10 on.

Does anyone have alarm listing so I can find out what is the matter? It would be helpful and would save a lot of time.

Does anyone have user/service manual for this type of lathe?

Sorry if I have posted a question that somebody already have asked. Help would be appreciated a lot. :-)

You've got 3 things going against you:

1. You're 44
2. You're from Finland
3. You bought an old Nakamura with a 3T

Fortunately,
1. I'm older than you
2. I like Finns
3. I understand your plight.

Therefore, I will try and help.. and encourage anyone else to assist.

First, this has got to be an OLD machine, having a 3T control.... I would suggest trying the factory for support and talking real, real nice.

If it a Fanuc alarm, it is usually preceded by a cryptic description.
e.g. P/S Alarm :010 which is unusable G code commanded.
Often the mistakes when purchasing used equipment is not asking for all documentation.
You should definitely have or record ASAP all parameters.
