    TTS Collet Holders shorter?

    Hi all
Have any of you noticed the new batch of ER collet holders are shorter by about .5" ?

Saw a sticker marked "OLD" on the last four recently received. They were still oily and sealed in the factory bag, obviously new, but had me curious. I'll check to see if any are different.

Shorter holders are good. I like to use the ER16 collet holders on most jobs because I like short holders and once I get my coolant line set, I don't have to keep moving it around to keep coolant on the cutter/part. But after seeing what Rory at Tormach did to his coolant line I'm going to do the same thing, then the coolant line doesn't move up and down with the Z axis.

I make a couple of parts where I have to keep the coolant line in one place because I am drilling a 1/8 inch diameter hole 4.5 inches deep.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.

Not complaining just wondered if I missed a selection at order time.

Here is a picture, original, taller ones on the left, newer shorter ones on the right.

Checked them out, including the four recent ones, and all are the longer "OLD" style. Thanks for the heads up on this, as I was getting an order ready with few of them on it. They'll even out some of the longer tooling.

    Go here:
