    Looking for Local CNC shop

I've been told there should be plenty of local shops that offer what I need, but I am having a difficult time finding them. Is there a local or national online directory that CNC shops use to advertise their services?

I am in Danbury, CT 06810

I am not real familiar with CNC so excuse if the terms I am using are not correct.

We are looking for a local CNC shop who we can outsource this work to.

I am converting photographs into ART / VECTOR files with the intention of having my art milled onto large sheet material. (minimum 3 ft x 3 ft).

I believe I need whats called a "V-Carve" (Makes kindof a 3d look) and we plan on using a 15 degree bit or cut (???).

I was also told we need to find somebody with a 3 axle CNC machine.

We plan on supplying the CNC shop with our art file in either a vector or CAD file and they will need to convert to G code.

    Hope this makes sense.

any help in direction would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Steve

    Hello Steve
You will be best served with a sign shop with a true 3 axis machine. I do what you want here in Florida .There should be many shops that can help you in your area. Most sign cnc routers are 4 x 4 to 4 x10'.
    Best Regards
    Gary
