Conquest 42 - Air leak heard from the spindle

They got a Conquest 42 lathe with live tools lately where I work, small familial shop. It was included in a machinery lot they bought. This small shop is all manual machines and it seems that if I want to see that Hardinge lathe work, I have to make it work.

So, here's the problem. Alarm code 1017 Low Air/Hyd Pressure Fault. Right when I start the machine. The hydraulic pump tries to start and turns off, seems normal because of the alarm code. Oil tank seems full and air pressure is set at 80psi.

Now, I can hear an air leak through the spindle. I would guess this might help cause the alarm. I have the machine's manuals, I started reading through it. If someone would be kind enough to hint me on where and what to check first, and how, it would be of a great help. Thank you for your time.

No. Thing got stalled. We were supposed to move the machine, then I'd get more space to work on it, but it didn't happened yet. I hope it will sooner than later.
