Hi,
I have a KM3P with Max control that is not working and I have been told the problem is with the Dual Axis boards.
I have been told both boards are dead but the machine will run on either one if it is working ok.
Is this correct?
Has anyone got any spare boards or can repair them?
The board numbers are:
Dual axis 2 PCB Assy 415-0176-604 rev A &
Dual axis 2 PCB assy 415-0176-904 ( no revision )
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Hello,

To repair that kind of boards is very difficult because there are no schematics but i think you can fit this boards, and in my opinion they are not too expensive.

Do you know if both boards are required, I am led to believe you only need one?

What are the differences in the boards?

Usually difference is one board is for 3 axis machine and second board is for 4 and 5 axis. What kind of machine do you have and do you have extra a or/and c axis?

I have an Ultimax KM3P circa 1990 ish. It does not have a 4th axis.

So in that case it doesn't matter which of those boards you linked to?

i can ask someone about that because i´m not sure for that boards, could be you need both of them if is old machine.
