    TNC 415 data cable

    Hi
I'm intending to connect my Heidenhain TNC415B to a laptop for parameters and data backup (and restore). The TNC has a 25 pin serial socket.
I was told that i would have to get an USB to RS232 adaptor for the Laptop.
I did not get that adaptor yet, so I don't know if its 9 or 25 pin.
Which cable configuration I should use to connect the laptop to the TNC?
    Can someone send a schema?
    Thanks in advance
    Z.

On attached file: This is the RS232 pinout for TNC 430. Should be exactly same thing for TNC 415.

Btw mods maybe it'd be nice to have a Heidenhain section in the Machine Controllers Software and Solutions part of the forum. I know they're big on scales, but I think Heidenhain are the 4th or 5th biggest player even for numerical controls.

    Cheers.
