    Libby turret lathe cross slide nut

    This is probably from WWII. Anybody know how to get this cross slide nut apart or how to adjust it? I've removed all visible screws, bolts etc and applied some hard rubber hammering to various areas but can't get the nut out or see an obvious way to adjust it. I can't find anything online about it so far either.

    All ideas, help or innovative curse words appreciated.

    Libby lathe

    What size is your Libby lathe hole thru? Is it been a good machine? Trying to buy one.
