    Tormach mach 3 problem

    Hi all,

I have been using the tormach version of mach 3 on my 770 for about two years now, with no problem. A few days ago I reinstalled mach 3 (the original tormach version). Everything works smoothly except that I cannot edit any value in any box. For example I cannot change the DRO value. When I click on the box, it just greys out but whatever I type makes no difference, even after I press "enter". Has anyone ever add this problem?
I restarted mach 3, it did not help. I restarted my computer, it did not help either? I wonder if it is a flash problem? Anyone has a quick fix?
    Thanks,
    Christian

Interesting. It seems as if some of the settings may have been switched on/off.

Try removing Mach3 and then reinstalling it (again).

Why did you reinstall if everything was working with no problem?(chair)

I think re-installing is the only solution, thanks for replying. My previous computer died, the mother board got fried. I guess some metal chips got on the board. Now I am having another problem, may be related but I will open another thread after re installing mach 3 if it persists.

I've also had a few issues with Mach/probe lately, not sure what's going on. I'd copy your tool table & G-code files over if not on a daily basis. I'd erase & reinstall again. If the dro is still disabled, a quick phone call to Tormach or Mach would be best.
