The carousel seems to move at normal speed when moving in and out but there is a delay that it did not used to have. We changed the motor for the tool changer several years ago and the limit switches about a year ago and other than that it has been working fine for fifteen years. Is there a certain level of tool clamp pressure it needs to reach or something before it sends the tool carousel out?
Thanks for any help,

Clean the out going filters on the tool change piston solenoids. And possible the solenoids themselves. Sounds like the air isn't getting out fast enough and the piston takes its time hitting the switch that says the tool is clamped. If it gets any worse and you will be getting tool un-clamp alarms.
