    cutoff tool

    i am having trouble with the cutoff insert being pushed out of the toolholder. i am running hose menders on a star sr-20rII. any help is appreciated?

    tool inserting problem

    I think you should check the draw bar assembly and the tool holder collet. You may try this

    tool is not inserted into spindle,problem in drawbar, disc spring or collet.

    During side turning or plunge cutting? Is material moving during cutoff? Is the tool mounted exactly on centerline or below centerline?
