Ive just purchased V6 and am trying to learn how to use this software, but cant make it do anything. This is my first time messing with a CAD program and figured I would learn as I observed what everything did. SO far I can make little squares and lines and thats about it. Any advice?

Go to Menu > Help > Tutorials and check out the videos and examples that are there. Also, get onto the ViaCAD forum for more help from seasoned users.

ViaCAD v6 is a pretty old version, as v8 has been out for a while now too and has moved on in leaps and bounds with regard to program stability and features.

Thanks, I'll give it a look. Is this something i can upgrade to the latest version? I didnt see provisions for this.
