Good afternoon,

I am fairly new to esprit, and I am curious if there is a way to edit the post processors for 3D arcs instead of line-by-line stlye of programming. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The output changes depending on how you program the part or how you describe the cut. Could you post an example or be more specific?

are you talking about G17 and G18 arcs nurbs and splines ?
its in machine setup Optimize toolpath

Hello friends,

This is a problem for Esprit users.

I have a multitask machine CTX Beta 1250 with sinumerik 840D.

I have set up in the work coordinate NONE and in the machine config at 5 axis tab i have Rotate With Part.

I have also used work turning coordinates.

looks like you are doing wrap contouring in esprit but its not posting right.
try turnig off rotate with part. I'm just guessing we use mazaks and also have post problems with esprit

I have tried also with FIXED but is not working at all. At least with Rotate with Part it goes there at the pocket, is folowing the contour but is not doing same like in the simulation.
So, if somebody has a PP for CTX Beta 1250 TC with sinumerik 840Dsl i can give back also a lot of PP and machine configurations and files...etc

BTW, do u have MAzak Integrex IV with Matrix control ?

As i understood in the machine setup i should have FIXED. There is not support for TRAORI. Can somebody help me with a 5 axis program ? Maybe my friend can write a new POST !
