There could be some overlap or grey areas here as I notice that there is a category for Mitsubishi and Mazak, whereas Mazak predominately use Mitsubishi as a controller.
Also some Manuf.'s. just produce the controller such as Fanuc, they do not manuf machine tools, whereas Mazak make machine tools but not the controller, then there is Mitsubishi which produce both.
Also I did not see Camsoft/Galil Motion mentioned, maybe they were too low a market percentage to be included?

Absolutely right, Al, there is a lot of room for gray areas and overlap.

It's a crazy old world though. Fanuc makes Robodrills and Mazak make Mazatrol.

There was an "Other" category and I did get quite a few not on the original list. But, no Camsoft/Galil yet.

    Best,

Yes, Mazatrol is a reconfigured (custom) Mitsubishi controller.
Over the years they used a few Fanuc, but mainly Mits.
BTW, as an integrator, I found Mitsubishi were way ahead of Fanuc as to support, unless you appeared to be an OEM/MTB.
