Hello
Our company bought a new to us 425 a few weeks ago.
It's making chips but we're still figuring out a few quirks..
One item that has me a bit concerned is the noticeable pulsing/cogging of the spindle at lower RPM.
Also, I cannot lower the RPM below 250... The spindle just stops.
I've had it running as high as 4500 so I'm assuming we have a 6000 rpm spindle (if I understand the 2 different options 50-3500 or 50-6000 correctly)
Is this unexpected behavior? Is there any tuning that could be done on the inverter (Yaskawa) to make this work better?
Machine has a Dynapath delta 50, Baldor drives
Another quick question: to use a tapping head, where would you mount a rotation stop?
Thanks for any advice!
