    Very beautiful work

I visited your Flickr site, and congratulate you on your fantastic projects you have finished and some that you are still working on.

You are very creative in your designs, and have some of the best quality work that I have seen.

Keep up the excellent projects, and keep us posted.

    Jerry

We started using V-Carve Pro a couple of days ago in the shop. I've been mostly tinkering around getting a grasp of how everything works in it.. Cut my first piece of wood with V-Carve yesterday.

I look forward to doing much, much more and sharing with you all.

That HD clock is SICK! How did you go about doing the "frame" though?

    It looks like molded plastic...

Smile Carved wood vee carved signs

    Hi Fellows,
I discovered this thread and had to show off some of my work over at http://www.carvedwoodsign.com You will have to excuse me for being a little gung ho over carved wood signs but honestly I've been an artist for over thirty years and this is really the first time I've sucsessfully made a buck at commercial art. And what really cool is I don't hate to have to go to work anymore.
    Talk to you soon,

Even though I have Aspire I made the decision to learn the V-carve side of this software first. Once I get a good grounding with this particular aspect of CNC machining and my overall skills develop and tool base grows... I'll move on to 3D.

Latest is a Xmas gift... the chest measures 16"X 11-1/2" by 12" tall...

that is really cool!! i have helped a lot of new people with the vectric software and have always taught to learn files, toolpath first as a path to aspire modeling, the ground work will benefit you more and shorten the 3d learning curve.
