    10m zero return

I have a Fanuc 10M on a mycenter 0 that overtravels in "y" on zero return. I know on a 0M control you can press P + Cancel while turning on the control, to fix some z/r issues. What is the majic code to do this w/ a 10M control.

    Thanks

There isn't one. The series 10 doesn't look at the soft over-travels until the machine has preformed a manual reference. I suspect that you are going into "hard" over-travel rather than "soft" (P-CAN ignores "soft"). What you can do is move the slide as far as you can in the opposite direction. Then manually trip the decel dog before it gets near the real decel dog. If the slide continues to travel all the way to the real decel dog then your motor encoder is not outputting the Zero pulse or the switch is malfunctioning. You should be able to see the decel input on the PMC diagnostic page. If it homes mid slide then you may be too close to the home switch when starting or the over-travel switch is too close to the home switch. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. it goes into "soft" over-travel. I'm gonna try your way, I'll let you know if it works.

    well You have one way:
    turn off machine.
press "." and "," ( point and comma) and turn on machine.
    on screen appear
IPL MODE, and options 1 to 6
press 4, after that Y and input .
    after that 6 and input.
Now machine is in normal mode without software OT checking, like P+CAN on 0 system.
