Questions on input methods for Series 16-L

We are currently using a Fanuc 16-L controller for our Amada Lasmac cutter. I was wondering if there are any other ways to bring files over than the 3.5" Floppy. I didn't know if there are adapters that may be able to read files off of a usb flash drive or options for going to cd. Pretty much we are looking for a way to store more files on a disk and organize the metal programs better than having a pile of floppys laying around. Any help is much appreciated.

There sure are. The best of the best would be a wireless DNC system. Requires some hardware and software to be installed.

I have seen some of the replacement drives that can be swapped in the floppy spot and have a usb module. I don't know how seemless of a workaround that is

If you go with a well known, larger supplier, you will most likely get better support for any hardware changes you decide to make. If you are equating seamless with easy to do, I can't advise you there since I have always paid a machine tech to come in and do this type of work. The $1000 or so I might pay a tech is worth it to me for my time and frustration and frees me up to do what I do best.
