    Absolute Encoder Type

    I have an encoder type ER-FC 2048D damaged, so, I have anothers encoder type FII, FB D2048 and FI, can I use them, instead ER-FC 2048D?

    What's the difference?:drowning:

    The FC encoder is smaller and more accuate than the other older style encoders. You may be able to use the FB to test, but the cover of the motor won't fit if the motor was built for the FB type.

    Don't remember the types. I installed new encoder into old encoder's case once. Still works.
