    back plotting old nc files

i have some older nc file that i used to machine some aluminum pieces, but all the drawings and geometry are gone.
is there anyway to get the old nc progams from the file back to mastercam and rerun them on the screen. or better yet use the toolpaths to create geometry.
    thanks, chuck

A free download of NCPlot will show toolpaths similar to a scaled down version of back plotting in Mastercam. This will give you a visual as to what the program will look like.

You used to be able to in V9 and earlier with the reverse post. I can not remember the last version that supports this.I do not have loaded the X2 only X4,X5 and X6.
You might want to ask over here eMastercam | Your Online Mastercam Source under forum.

If I remember there was a chook called reverse that would use a old reverse fanac post. look in the chooks. I have not used v9 for about 7 years with the release of te Xseries sorry so I do not remember all the details and I do not run any 32 bit computers to put it on.
