Hello all,
On the attached drawing I used the Line Parallel command to draw the red lines offset .250" from the inner blue lines and was wondering if there is a way to extend the red lines so they join.
Thanks
Ed.

Go to "Utilities > Trim Extend > Screen
Click on a line say the top one and then move the cursor some way to the right past where you want to join the lines and left click and the line will be extended, then do the same with the vertical line and take it past the extended horizontal one you just created, carry on and do the same routine with all the lines, the lines will now all be crossing each other, now go to :-
"Utilities > Trim Extend > Quick Trim
Now you can just click on the part of the line that is past the join point and it will be trimmed off.
Sounds a lot but is really quite quick and easy once you`ve done it a couple of times

Hi Ed,
Try "trim two entities".
doug
Thanks guys I tried both methods, both worked great but the Trim Two Entities is the way to go much faster.
Thanks again
Ed.
Like everything, many ways to be done.I can thing of quite a few, here's one more, however a little more "clicks"Point Intersect, then Line Join. But then you have to delete point and Re-Organize to get single entities.
