    CPU ERROR: with photo, help

    Hi!
I switched on OKUMA LC30, OSP5000L, the lader loaded (photo 1).
The system became ready for operation (photo 2).
But unfortunatly this CPU-ALARM screen appeard (photo 3).
Please help me, where to dig?
In what PCB is the problem?
The lathe was out of power 4 month.
    It operated befor this.

I have the memory address chart in the office, will be there Monday morning and will get you info then (unless someone else posts it by then).

I changed processor board (MO+M1+M2) from other OKUMA LC30.
    Only stay native bubble memory.
    The lathe became ready.
The problem is in M0 or M1 or M2 card.

Can you give me the part numbers (1911-xxxx, or A911-xxxx) on the boards? I believe you have an MB0 (versus an MBIIA or MBIIB)...part number would be A911-1100...if so, that is most likely the culprit. Regardless, post the part numbers, I might have them in stock.

I am not in my work now, so I cannot write the board number.
But I attache the photo. Looks like it is the same you speak.

Too hard to tell from the pic what the actual board numbers are for the various boards (the main board and the daughter boards)...when you get a chance post them or send them to me ([email protected]) and we'll go from there.

if you have another working processor board (you said above) swap the individual boards until you find the bad one. then it may be possible to identify the problem with a deeper analysis of just the faulty board

    I found the fault board.
It is main M0 base board E4809-045-035-A 1911-1100-22-34 (without daughter cards).
    The photo is in attach.
    How can suggest me one?

Option 1 - Buy another working board.
Option 2 - Send it somewhere to have it repaired.
Option 3 - Repair it yourself.

If you provide a good quality pic of the board I can help with Option 3.

The obvious thing you may be missing is that the machine has sat unused for 4 months. Does this machine have a battery cassette that may have gone dead? If yes, the system files are gone and need to be reloaded and you will get error messages like this.

Do you have the system disks that you can reload?

Just sayin' - It may not be boards...

    Best regards,

Oops! just saw in your pics that it has bubble memory - no battery required! Probably board. Should have loooked close first I guess.

I have 2 OKUMA LC30, all these lathe not operate during 4 month. The first LC30 has problem with CPU, I remove CPU board from second LC30 and installed it in first lathe. The first lathe became worker. I localized the fault - M0 CPU memory board E4809-045-035-A 1911-1100-XX-XX. I am searching it now.
