I need to buy a new hypertherm to add to my PM45. Has anyone used the new PM 105? I need to cut more than 3000 ,1/4 mild steel sheet. I have used the PM without any problem for almost 2 and a half years controlled by a THC300.

The Powermax105 is the big brother to the Powermax65 and 85 that have been on the market for close to two years. It uses the same torch....so it can cut exactly the same as these units (and at 45 amps cuts the same as the Powermax45) at lower power levels...but has a higher rated duty cycle and 105 amps of cutting power.
Compared to the 45 (obviously you would have to compare when running at the smae amperage) the 105 will provide 100% duty cycle (at amperages below 94 Amps), longer consumable life (newer technology Duramax torch), and has a digital readout with built in diagnostics, and auto air pressure control.
Keep in mind that the Powermax105....due to its output power in killowatts....can only operate on 3 phase input power....while the Powermax45, 65 and 85 can all operate on single phase power.
