Hello all. Sorry for posting this here but this really doesn't fit in any of the classified catigories. I started making a scale model of a flathead 8 model engine a few years ago and never finished. I thought maybe someone might be interested in finishing it. There are no plans to it so the buyer would have to some engineering work. Basically what I have is a cylinder block with steel sleeves, cylinder head, cam gears and cover. It's a good start on a 8 cylinder flathead if someone wanted a such a project. I'm asking $250 for all the parts.

Looks good to me Bob. Did you machine it from solid?

Perhaps you will get more interest if you post dimensions or at least a ruler in the pics for scale.

Did you design it in mind to make it 100% from scratch, or were there some standard engine parts that you were sort of sizing things to ?

Yes all of it from solid aluminum.
