    Angry Fanuc OT Won't Zero

I have a Denford Senior 200 on Fanuc OT and when I send it 'Home' the axis give an over travel alarm. I have tried the P Can button trick on start up which dissables the near limit switches and allows the machine to hit the dead stop switches. This worked with the X axis and now reads X0.000 but the z axis still gives me the alarm... I have had the machine for a month & still have not cut any metal! Just managed to solve a 401 alarm & now this!

    Thanks,

    Paul

Have you checked the limit switch wiring and switch action? We've dealt with that with other lathes with thae OT.

Thanks for your help, it turns out that the limit switch stop plate was put on upside down! Finally cutting metal!

    Thanks!
