    Torchmate cad/cam with Mach 3

Hey guys, I'm setting up a plasma table with Mach 3 on the control cpu. I am interested in running your torchmate cad/cam software for it's auto lead ins and outs, kerf comp, nesting ect....

Will your software export the proper G-code for Mach 3 to run?

I'm new to all of this so please excuse me if this is a dumb question.

Torchmate cad exports .dxf. You then open that .dxf in the Torchmate table driver program which converts .dxf or .dwg into gcode for cutting.
With you a Torchmate cnc table, you work with 2 programs. The cad software and the table driver software.

The bottom line is that that if Torchmate has done cutter compensation, etc. YES, the (mathematical) code will be usable on Mach3...but you have to make sure that mach 3 is setup to use the same "torch on" and "torch off" commands...if I remember correctly from my torchmate export excercises...the torchmate driver software (on my 2D system) "interpreted" torch on/off control....so I had to insert the appropriate M codes in the ffile for Mach 3 to know when to do that.
