    Help- Steppers

    Hello,

I need help with my steppers.. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have 2 automation direct steppers 260oz, being run by a xylotx board, powered by a 24v 6amp Power supply. I have the xylotex voltages and amp output set correctly. What is happening is when the motors turn it is very jerky, like during its operation the motor just pulsates, stopping and starting.. as well as it makes a ticking sounds, it kind of sounds like a clock.. I've tried changing my start and stop MHz inside of turbocnc.. but it doesn't help or change anything..

Please, any help would be appreciated.

Are you booting into DOS directly, or running in a Dos window from Windows?

Did you remember to hook the ground up to your computer?
