    X4 Blinking When Turned On

I have a 2009/2010 X4. Up to now it has worked without any issues. The past couple times I turned it on the blue LCD panel just blinks. I can shut down the main power wait 5 seconds and it may or may not repeat it. It has always turned on after two tries. Any advise? I dread the day I need it and it does not power up.

    Regards,

    Dennis

    Anyone?

Today it took almost 4 tries before it turned on. I was hoping for some advise before I took the back off.

Syil Technical support. Any thoughts where to start or have you seen this issue / behavior before?

Thanks for your reply. It has not done it again since my post. I hope it was just those couple days. I do not use the mill everyday, so I post again if it does happen.

Where is Syil Support? Could use your insight and advise to what to do next time this happens again.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

looks like a loose connection or a defective power switch.

With the power off, give all the crimped wire joints a gentle tug, one at a time.
Some probably need recrimping, or will after you've pulled too hard.
More than likely find the problem too. Don't even think of soldering any of the wires instead of crimping.
