    Outline

    Hi Very new to all this,not sure if the post is in the correct section,I am looking to scan a picture and convert the outline into a dxf file so it can be cnc plasma cut,any help much appreciated

    You are looking to "vectorize" a bitmap. You will need a software to do this. Corel draw, adobe illustrator, inkscape, countless others..... It can be easy and hard. A lot of times it's easiest to just trace it with a drawing or cad program.
